Week Seven 2/3

Turning my garage into a dungeon!?

The first day of “at-home filing” was very successful. I started the process by searching up what dungeons looked like. I decided to do this because I wanted to have an image, in the back of my mind, of what it should look like in order to have the most realistic end result. Furthermore, I literally went all around my house looking for the right props. As seen by the video below, my props consisted of multiple computer displays and all different types of technology stuff. For instance, I found founded an old phone and I placed it on top of the kidnapper’s desk. Additionally, while I was searching around my house for props I founded an old WiFi router. Even though all of these things were not connected to any type of electricity they had “power” over my project. In other words, these props played a huge role in getting my overall ending project to achieve the next level. For instance, the monitors were used to display the “breaking news” that were reported by Nicole. Additionally, the phone, WiFi router, and all the other machinery, all help in adding to the idea that the group of friends is kidnaped in a dark crepy technology place. Moreover, the rest of the set consisted of the three chairs were the three friends would be tied up. As seen by the video below, the chairs were in front of red curtains that were used as the background and the set also had a rug on the floor. These were all things that I was able to find all around my house, additionally, the lighting came from a reading light that I stole from my brother. Overall, this entire set helped me realized that even though I am stuck in my house, I can still work around my problems. Tune in tomorrow for the editing part of this scene.
