Week Five 3/4

Risking it for the shot!

Yesterday we filmed the last scene that took place in Markham Park. These shots look absolutely stunning and they were shot with just my iPhone. My actors make fun of me because the shots look like they are taken straight from a commercial. I personally don't mind because they are in other words saying that my shots look professional. As well as the main shot we, of course, filmed a lot of b-roll. Scroll down to take a look.

As seen above, these shots have an extremely high amount of quality. The way I managed to get these amazing shots was by using the wide mode on my camera settings and hanging off another car while recording Santiago’s white car. Overall, this shoot looks extremely smooth and it is a perfect match to my editing expectations.

During this shot, we placed my friend’s phone in the middle and we used it as a microphone in order to get the hights possible audio. Furthermore, this shot is extremely important in which Santiago realizes that his car is having a breakdown and is forced to pull over, resulting in the entire group getting kidnap. Overall, day three of onset filming was a success and I am completely happy in the way it turned out. Tune in tomorrow for the last update post of week five.
